These
serve two purposes. Firstly to protect the eye from the direct glare or
the sparkle effect from the lamp, and secondly to guard against any direct
light which may be emitted from the lens of the fitting e.g. when walking
past a Spike Spot, upward light could be blinding.
Also ideal for a Wall Down Lite or Pillar Lite in an entrance way where the light may be too harsh, or a Twin Pole Lite in a garden bed so there is no light projected forward toward the observer. In this case the fitting disappears in the darkness as the flowerbed is lit and not the fitting. The Hunza Moonlighter accessory has been specifically designed to reduce glare when creating a moonlighting effect. This accessory can be fitted to any MR16 downward facing Hunza outdoor lighting product. Available in UV stable powder coated finish (standard colours bronze, green,matt black, silverand white) or solid copper or 316 stainless steel. The
Hex Cell Louvre Adaptor's main purpose is to protect the eye from the direct
glare or sparkle effect from the lamp filament without dramatically changing
the look of the luminaire.
It also can serve as a second lens receptacle for colour lenses (not supplied by Hunza®), it is supplied standard with a clear lens. Tree

The
Tree Mount Kit has been specifically designed to be mounted to a tree in
order to create moonlighting effects (see also Moonlighter Accessory) and
to illuminate higher structures in conjunction with a NPS Spot (sold separately).
The Tree Mount Kit with Rubber Strap SSP/TRS consists of a mounting dome and a one metre adjustable rubber strap, which expands as the tree grows, causing no harm to the tree. The Tree Mount Kit Screw Fix SSP/T consists of a mounting dome and three 316 stainless steel screws. The screws initially suspend the dome 40mm from the trees surface which allows the tree to grow with out causing any harm. Both kits come with a female adapter for NPS thread. Nylon 66: Extremely tough UV stable glass filled Nylon 66, suitable for use with aluminium, copper and 316 stainless steel luminaires - therefore there is no electrolytic reaction between the metals used in luminaire and dome. Mounting
canisters provide an efficient and professional method of luminaire mounting.
The internal O'rings also make the installed luminaires difficult
to remove, therefore making them harder to steal; a priceless accessory
for public installations. The Step Lite canisters are available in aluminium and 316 stainless steel for high corrosion locations e.g. sea front areas and lime stone installations etc. The Fluorescent canister is manufactured from PVC. The
Super Spike is a multi purpose unit which adds significant stability when
used in loose or sandy soil. It is designed for use with HUNZA® NPS
luminaries and any HUNZA® pole lite style luminaires.
It is supplied in kit form with two snap in adaptors to be used with either ½” NPS luminaires or pole style luminiares. The dome junction box is designed to facilitate effortless cable connections, while being discreetly hidden by the dome. If you find that the soil is too loose to support the Super Spike you can now purchasing a Super Spike Adaptor. This small, but extremely effective part screws into the top of the Super Spike and hugs the spike of our spiked lites.The Super Spike is constructed from black UV stable glass filled Nylon 66. There is sufficient space for a cable connection under the dome. It is suitable for use with aluminium, copper and 316 stainless steel luminaries. Available in two sizes; 300mm and 150mm long. Anti Syphon
|
The Anti-SyphonTM system has been designed to counter the problem of wicking (siphoning or water ingress) of water through the supply cable into the lamp housing causing water to condense and dramatically shorten the life of the lamp, lamp holder and luminaire. Siphoning is caused by the expansion and contraction of air inside the luminaire due to heat generated by the lamp. As the lamp heats up, the air expands and is forced down into the supply cable. When the luminaire enters the cooling cycle and the air cools considerable suction inside the lamp housing and supply cables is created. NB: This is a factory fit item and can not be retro fit, therefore this is an information page only. The Anti-Syphon can not be ordered as a separate item. |
