Compact Fluorescent Downlights
Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFLs) have become the standard for commercial application recessed downlights over the past 10 years, with incandescent and halogen declining in use. Although low-wattage metal halide downlights have carved out a significant share of their own CFLs are by and large the dominant light source in low- and medium-height ceiling general downlighting applications.

CFLs are energy-efficient long-life sources that produce shadow-free illumination, practical dimming for some applications, minimum heat output, and a range of color temperatures. CFLs can be as much as 80 percent more efficient and can last more than 10 times longer than incandescent lamps. For instance, a 26W CFL can replace a 100W incandescent lamp for a savings of 75 percent.

Gear is available as standard switch start, as an emergency switch start, with high frequency electronic gear, or finally with high frequency electronic dimmable gear.

Life Downlight

This downlight has a body of sandblasted UNI5076 Aluminium c/w steel cover caps and secure cabling. It has a powder coated finish with a screen of shock-resistant and heat proof float type tempered glass which has been silk screen printed.
The fitting comes with gear of choice c/w a fast coupling connector.
