Miniature Low Voltage Starlight Downlights

These compact fittings can be used in the tightest of spaces owing to their very small size, utilising as they do 20watt capsule lamps which emit a lot of light for their relative size. A host of lighting problems can be solved utilising these starlights such as illuminating stairways and walkways or creating an ideal ambient lighting level in a given area. Most commonly these are used to create mood lighting with a starlit sky effect in meeting areas such as lounges or bars.

Mains Voltage Downlighters

All these mains voltage downlights have an electrophoretic powder coating, a ceramic lampholder, a lamp retaining ring, a covered terminal block, and are available in a wide choice of colour. Similar in appearance to a conventional low voltage halogen reflector lamp, the mains voltage version used in these fittings does not require the use of a transformer.

Until now, low energy lamps have been obtrusive, bulky and unsightly. This new miniature compact fluorescent fitting uses the latest in low energy cfl lamp technology to provide a flush fitted downlighter which can be installed as a direct replacement or subsitute for a standard 50mm low voltage or mains downlighter. The fitting has been designed exclusively for use with the low energy GU10 lamp and cannot be used with standard GZ10/GU10 lamps.

Compact Fluorescent Downlighter ~ Part L Compliant

This "Pacific" 18watt Compact Fluorescent Downlight comes with integral high frequency control gear so as to comply with the Building Regulations Part L1. The high frequency gear gives flicker free light and instant start up.

This fitting consumes up to 80% less energy than a standard incandescent lamp and the lamp will last up to 10 times longer. The 18 watt PL-T 4 PIN Lamp gives an equivalent light ouptut to a 100watt GLS lamp. The fitting comes prewired with a 200mm lead.

The "Pacific" CFL downlight is supplied as a body only c/w the integral control gear. Decorative rings are available 109mm x 3mm to fit to the front of the fitting in white, polished brass, satin silver and chrome.

IP54 Downlighters

This is a compact, and highly functional shower light.

It is designed for use with a 35mm max 35watt lamp.

IP65 12volt / 240volt Downlighter

This highly successful shower light has an IP65 ingress protection rating. Manufactured in Aluminium it resists warping and dissipates heat efficiently. It is supplied with a mounting bracket, large connections for rapid loop-in loop-out connections, "easyfind" white terminal screws for those dark attics and a rapid ratchet cord grip.The fitting has wing clips rather than springs and a pull front release for easy lamp replacement and comes with both 12volt GX5.3 and 240volt GU/GZ10 lamp holder. The 12 volt version will require a 12v max 50watt lamp and Transformer ~ the mains version requires a GU10 max 50watt lamp and no transformer is needed.

It is available in White, Chrome, & Satin Chrome.

IP65 12volt Downlighter

This Die Cast IP65 downlight has a pull down bezel which is easily removable from the outer fixing for lamp replacement.
Suitable for use in bathroom zones 1, 2 and 3.

Downlighter Accessories

EMC306

This circular convertor plate covers holes previously made in the ceiling for larger fittings allowing smaller fittings to be installed without having to replace the ceiling. It fits into the space using a single spring clip.
Ideal as a RO80 to GU10 convertor
It is available in white, polished brass, chrome, and satin silver.

Overall diameter is 180mm and new cut out is 70mm. This convertor is suitable for use with any downlight whose cut out is 70mm or less and whose overall diameter is no greater than 80mm.

This works perfectly with the LV510, the CF005 and the IP rated SY9659 as listed above.
